Huge excitement is building among Japan’s J-League fans as they expect to welcome a former Arsenal star Lukas Podolski into their league.
Various Japanese media reported that Podolski will be soon transferring to Vissel Kobe in J-League.
Offer from Japan seems to be quite detailed according to the reports. Vissel Kobe is rumored to have suggested a contract of €8 million per year lasting three years. J-League has a limitation on number of foreign players per team but that limitation will loosen up from this season which makes Podolski’s transfer eligible.
Podolski was also linked with Beijing Sinobo Guoan FC in Chinese Super League but his China movement was revealed to be just a rumor. His contract with Galatasaray SK remains valid until 2018 but Podolski’s winter transfer seems likely at the moment.
