Arsenal’s new #9 Lucas Pérez is currently ranked second in squad for attacking points per minute.
Sky Sports revealed Arsenal attackers’ attacking points per minute. First in line is Olivier Giroud with 10 goals and 4 assists/one per 59.9 minutes. Second is Pérez with 6 goals and 4 assists/one per 67.7 minutes. Alexis Sánchez follows in third place with 16 goals and 10 assists/one per 88.0 minutes. Fourth place goes to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (6 goals and 6 assists/one per 107.3 minutes), fifth is Theo Walcott (11 goals and 2 assists/one per 115.8 minutes) and Mesut Özil (9 goals and 6 assists/one per 135.1 minutes) comes in sixth place.
Pérez is showing a very efficient performance despite him not getting too much chance on the field. Arsène Wenger seems to prefer choosing Sánchez or Alex Iwobi on the same position. Recently, Danny Welbeck also came back into the first team after a long-term injury. Pérez’s struggle to get into the starting XI might be facing a bigger challenge now.
