Jack Wilshere, who has been loaned out to AFC Bournemouth at the start of this season, is showing a great performance at his current team.
Bournemouth played against Watford FC in the 22nd round and just managed to tie the game 2 – 2.
BBC selected Wilshere as the Man of the Match, commenting on how he ripped the Watford defense apart in the second half. Wilshere had the highest pass success rate (86% accuracy) and made seven successive dribbles too.
He always had the potential to become a great player but constant injury held up his progress. After he came back to the team healthy, Arsenal did not have a place for him. He was pushed out by Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla, Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka.
Arsène Wenger didn’t want Wilshere to leave the team permanently and so had to send him away for a loan. Under Eddie Howe (Bournemouth manager), Wilshere finally started to bloom his potential. He appeared 17 times (started 15, subbed 2) this season and is still not injured. Furthermore, he has already been awarded “Bournemouth player of the month” two times in November and December.
Manchester City FC, Everton FC and AC Milan are all currently eyeing on “new” Wilshere. Arsenal might be able to replace Cazorla in the near future if Wilshere keeps up this form for a long time.
