ESPN praised Arsenal’s Danny Welbeck, evaluating him as one of the essentials needed for the title challenge.
ESPN commented; Arsenal finally retrieved Welbeck and he is one of the most important players in Arsenal needed for catching up with Chelsea FC. ESPN also introduced what Arsène Wenger said about his player. Wenger referred back to Welbeck’s performance in the England squad before his injury. If Welbeck was able for the Euro 2016, England might have reached a higher place in the competition, Wenger added.
Welbeck was out of the team sheet for 243 days (31 games) until his recent return on the 7th of January. After his return, he was constantly added on the substitute list proving his place in Wenger’s plan.
Arsenal is currently ranked second on the league table with 47 points, just 8 points behind Chelsea.
