Arsenal to rest two star players in the FA Cup clash against Southampton FC

Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger will be using some rotation in the FA Cup clash against Southampton FC.

It is told that Wenger will not be including Alexis Sánchez in the starting line-up and instead, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck will start the game. Also, Mesut Özil who went on a short trip to Sweden this week will not be traveling to St. Mary’s Stadium with the team.

Arsenal will be playing against Watford FC on 31st of January and against Chelsea FC on 4th of February, three games in just 3-4 days gap; a reason why rotation to the line-up is inevitable. Walcott is returning after an one month injury and Welbeck, who has already made his return through the past few fixtures after being nine months away from the squad, is expected to be fit for starting the game this weekend.
